Sokio Diaz-Gallardo (Chile, b.1973) is a composer, producer, music supervisor, curator, and the director of New Latin Wave. He lives and works in the Lower East Side, New York.
His new chamber opera “Paraíso”, was premiered June 16, 2023 at National Sawdust. His latest work as a music supervisor, is Sebastian Diaz’s documentary “A Thousand Pines”. And as a curator, he created with Amanda Riesman the series “Futuros, New Ideas In Composition” at Lincoln Center.
he was the recipient of the Abrons Arts Center Residency 2021.
